Little Axe Magic 2008
Magic is a second year 16U. We are a team based out of Little Axe, Oklahoma, with players from nearby towns such as Shawnee, Seminole, and the OKC area. We share a common love for the game of softball. We work hard, we play hard....and we have great time along the way!
Magic was established in 1998 as an 8u team by Rick Frazier some of these girls have playing together since t-ball (eleven years ago!) and will continue to playe together through High School. The coaches are very experienced fastpitch players. They bring a level of expertise that can only be gained by actually playing the game.

16U First Place Finish
We don't have many teams to play this 16U tourney but they are quality teams. ALL Tribez is from Kansas and they are tough, we win 4-1. On Sunday we have Force and then the finals against Pressure and we feel it early as they score 2 the first inning and hold us to nothing until the third and we come alive and score 5 runs. Winning Championship game 5-2.

16U Warm Up Tournament April 4-6 - 2nd Place
This was our first tournament of the year because several girls are playing school ball (slow pitch) and we felt a little rusty. We didn't have enough to play on Saturday so we borrowed several 12u girls from the Lunatix to help us out. Thanks Lunatix! It's good to play fastpitch again. Sweet Thunder won the tournament and played well. Can't wait to meet up with them again with our regular team. Should be a great match up!

14U World Series, Orlando Florida: 5th place finish
We travelled to Orlando Florida to show what Oklahoma Softball is all about. We had some great games and most ended with W for us and all three of our losses that week were to teams who placed higher. Congrats to Dev for making all tournament team and all of you girls battled all week and played tough. Next year, we need start a little earlier and reach out there and take it all ! Good Job Girls and we will see you a few months for fall ball tournaments and good luck with your school ball teams.

Two Tournaments in one weekend, are we nuts!? 2nd place finish
The Triple Crown boasted some of the best competition around and we were not sold short. We played the Kansas Renegades, Colorado, Missouri, Texas, and one other state; the weekend was a blur. We travelled back and forth from Moore to Del City to try to win the pins tourney. It proved to be a bit much as on Sunday the triple crown over with record of 3 wins and 2 losses and then three games at Del City winning two and losing in the finals to Henyretta. Ten games in a weekend is a bit much and Second place after all that mess isn't bad but after working that hard is almost feels like last. Heads up the road is going to get rougher as we go the 14U classifer this weekend and the competition is fierce! Thanks to Yoda to coming to our rescue so we had nine players, we appreciate ya!

USSSA World Series Qualifer, Champions!
Our tournament had some good teams playing coming from Kansas and Eastern Oklahoma to play in this qualifer. We have been a little sluggish getting started but somehow alway found the way to get the big "W". We played the Dababes in the finals and they get an early lead and hold us until our last bat and then we poured it on: Meagan gets a hit, Mya gets a double, Peyton gets a double, Devon gets a hit, Maddie gets a hit, Shala gets a hit, Wynter gets a hit and Kayla tops it off with a fence banger to get six runs and hold them to one more and win the tournament. Good Job Dababes and to DiamondBacks for their third place finish. Great Job Magic and thanks to Maddie for coming and helping us out.

First Tournament of 2007, 2nd Place
We practiced once and then BAM played a tournament. We had some good hitting here and there, mostly there but hey its early still to make adjustments. We place second out of 11 teams and have plenty time to improve.

The PFX was a great experience and winning first place was pretty cool too, Great finals game against the Oklahoma Bratz who are a very good team.
This was a wonderful way to finish off an awesome season and it is sure to only be the start of some great tournaments to come in the spring 2007 season.

Magic places 2nd in Nationals for 2006
It was one amazing week of ball we played fourteen games in the blazing heat. We had a motel that had no air and a desk manager with no brains causing us to move hotels in the beginning. We practice hard and conditioned our selves for the heat and it paid off as we chipped away one game at a time to move deeper into the bracket. Brooklyn Park MN put us into the losers bracket on Friday night and we had to play four games on Saturday and met up with Brooklyn park again to send them back to Minnesota. We then played four games on Sunday to make into finals. The final game against the Minnesota Airels was hard fought. These girls were tough the whole week and we could not be prouder of them.
Thanks For Being A Magic Fan!!!!!
