Sunday, October 14 From the Desk of our Manager FUNDRAISING We need 2 parents to work the Oilers 50/50 game on December 15th. We also need to sell 50 tickets to the WEM waterpark on November 30. Tickets are $15.00 each and I will be handing out these at the next game. Each family will be required to sell 2 tickets. I will have the extras so please, please, please ask me for them!! We can make approx $400.00 for the team when we sell them all. Unfortunately we do not have a choice to opt out of this fundraisier. All Strathcona teams are involved. VOLUNTEERING I did have two parents step forward to take the jerseys. I would like two more for the second half of the season. I also need at least 2 parents in the box for time keeping and scoresheet at every home game. I will be doing a rooster up this week and sending it out to you. This will have your days you are responsible for the box. If you are unable to do your shift it is up to you to find someone who can. TEAM STUFF If you are unable to attend a practice or game make sure you phone one of the coaches so they are aware. It greatly affects the game plan when someone is away, so please call. Please be at all games and practices 1 hour early and ready 15 minutes prior to all games and practices. We will be looking at attending 3 tournaments this year and there will be exhibitions game throughout the season, as schedule permits. See you at the rink! |
