Profile: Lugnut Management would like to welcome back Scott to another fun Season of Lugnut Baseball.

Scott is in his 2nd year as a Lugnut after our Scouting dept were able to sign him to a lucrative long-term contract, luring him away from the North Reading Vipers.

Last season, Scott was invaluable as a leadoff hitter and he lead the team in stolen bases. Our very own Ricky Henderson only that he never refers to himself in 3rd person.

For those who don’t know, Scott is a walking Baseball encyclopedia. He can recite facts from any game in the past 80 years. For example, did you know that Phil Rizzuto of 1950's NY Yankees, in the first game of the 1950 World Series went 1 from 3, and on his first at bat, he fouled 7 pitchers before he single to LF.

Or, such facts like during the 2007 ALDS Game between New York and Cleveland, Joba Chamberlain pitched 32 pitches and killed 129124 gnats.

Having so much useless baseball material stored away, Scott sometimes just can't stop. It's not unusual to hear Scott reciting these to himself as he takes ground balls between innings.

However, sometimes he continues this idle chatter during the game, which bugs the hell out of our pitching staff.

Career High Point - Joining the Lynn Lugnuts.
Most Disappointing Moment in Baseball - The 2004 ALCS series loss of his beloved New York Yankees to the Boston red Sox. (Need we say anything else?)

If you get the chance sit down for a post game beer with Scott, it's always good to talk Baseball with a purist.
