Jim Carmilla is a Foundation Lugnut. He has been with the Ballclub since it's incorporation back in 2004.
Jim has played many Positions for the Lugnuts - Pitcher, 1st Base and Outfield. He is a great hitter and has been likened to the great Dwight Evans.
Unfornutaly Jim hasnt pitched since the 2005 Season where there was a rather unfortunate incident during the Playoffs. Going into the late innings with a No Hitter, Jim, not realizing the inning or that he was throwing a No Hitter, thought the game was in hand.
He wandered over to the ever present Lugnut Cooler to grab a water. However, he grabbed a beer instead. Once he got his first taste of the amber fluid , there was no stopping Jim. We had to drag him away from the cooler kicking and screaming. I can still hear the words " It's in the Bag, It's in the Bag. Guys we have plenty of Runs, and they havent even scored. Let me enjoy this Beer"
Jim was unable to take the mound again during that game or any since.
