Loyola Volleyball Tip Sheet for Campers and Parents
This summer you will be attending Kristina Hernandez's High Performance Volleyball Camp at Loyola College. We are looking forward to your visit. This Tip Sheet should answer most questions prior to your visit.
Where do I park or get dropped off?
You can get dropped off in Jenkins Parking lot which is right in front of the Gym doors. If you are parking…you can park on the street, or park in Butler which is behind the student center(directions attached)
Where and when do I eat? The counselors will instruct you about meal location and times.
How do I get in touch with my parents?
If you do not have a cell phone, bring lots of quarters OR a calling card for the pay!
What if I get hurt? Infrequently as this occurs, it does happen. If you become injured while on campus you will immediately be referred to the University's Health Center. It will be their decision whether or not you will be sent to the nearest hospital. We will contact a parent/guardian ASAP in case of an emergency. If injured, there is NO camp refund.
What if I lose something?
FIRST, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS AT ALL TIMES. THIS INCLUDES YOUR CELL PHONE AND MONEY. Do NOT leave any bags etc…in the gym between sessions. If you discover you have lost something while on campus, please check with the staff or the service desk. Kristina Hernandez Volleyball Camps,
Inc., Camp Coaches and Counselors are not responsible for any lost items. We encourage campers to leave ALL valuables at home.
What type of security is provided?
Naturally, we encourage common sense to be used when visiting any campus. Always walk in pairs; be aware of your surroundings.
What type of behavior is expected?
Campers are expected to follow all rules and regulations of, coaches and volleyball camp staff. Drugs, alcohol and/or smoking will NOT be tolerated. If a camper is dismissed from camp for any disruptive behavior or not following the camp rules and regulations, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
What about check-out?
To pick up your camper, please park in either Jenkins/Butler lots.
Cancellation/Refunds:
Once a camper starts camp, there are NO refunds for ANY reason.
What to Bring?
T-Shirts (one for each session) Shorts, Socks
Volleyball/Athletic shoes Kneepads
Other Information
Meals: Meals will be provided.
T-Shirts: Each camper will receive a free t-shirt camp participation.
Schedule: Attached is a detailed daily schedule for camp.
Parents: You are welcome to watch any and all sessions of the camp. Please drop off and pick up your daughter at the assigned time if you are not staying overnight.
Parking: Please note the attached information and follow the directions carefully to avoid tickets! Assume that we cannot help you with tickets.
Camp Store: T-shirts, kneepads, and other volleyball items will be sold throughout camp.
