USA Wrestling Copper Level Certification
USA Wrestling’s National Coaches Education Program (NCEP) is a multi-tiered educational program for excellence in coaching the sport of wrestling. It is designed to be an integral component of USA Wrestling’s mission to possess the most powerful and comprehensive wrestling program in the world. USAW offers four levels of certification: copper, bronze, silver, and gold. ASEP's Coaching Youth Wrestling Online Course fulfills USA Wrestling's certification requirements for the Copper Level. To register for the course, just click on the link below. You can also click on the headline above to go to the course. If you're a coach who has already taken and passed the online course and have questions regarding the status of your Copper Level card, contact Ted Witulski at USAW. On a weekly basis, ASEP provides USAW with a list of coaches who have successfully completed the online course. Within 2 to 4 weeks, USAW then produces and sends each coach a Copper Level card. If you're going to be coaching prior to receiving your Copper Level card in the mail from USAW, you can print your course transcript from the ASEP site. Just go to the ASEP home page and sign in. Then select "National Coaches Registry" from the left-hand menu. Select "View My Transcript" from the sub-menu. Then select "Print Transcript". You can present your transcript to tournament directors as verification that you are certified at the Copper Level.
