Lineup Tools
Several lineup tools are available for the younger divisions to assist Managers in making sure that all players get to play a variety of positions, both in each game and throughout the season.
There are two Microsoft Excel workbooks:
The first workbook can be used by T-Ball teams for rosters of 11-15 players. Each player will play at least one inning in both the infield and outfield, and the batting order rotates throughout the game to ensure that a different kid gets to lead off each inning.

The second workbook can be used by Rookie and even Single-A teams to enable managers to have players become accustomed to playing a particular position — during a game, infield players will play the same position for three innings, then the entire infield shifts to the outfield. This spreadsheet also ensures that only 10 players are in the field at a time, and two players are on the bench. For rosters of 13 players, some manual tweaks will be needed.
