The responsibilities of the President of Loudoun South Little League will include...
- Ensure compliance with Little League operating rules, incorporation,
by-laws, etc. - Report condition of LSLL at the annual meeting
- Attend District meetings, stay informed regarding Little League
International events - Foster and maintain relationships with other leagues in the area
- Oversees, manages and delegates responsibilities to the other Board
members - Oversee LSLL All-Star process
Vice President
The responsiblities of the Vice President include overseeing, managing, and delegating responsibilities for the following:
- Sponsorship Coordinator (1 Volunteer) - Seek corporate and local business sponsors for league teams
- Fundraising Coordinator (1 Volunteer) - Coordinate league fundraising activities such as raffle
- Marketing/Public Relations Coordinator (1 Volunteer) - Increase league awareness through marketing and public relations
- Special Events Coordinator(1 Volunteer): Coordinate league special events such as opening day and world series
- Picture Day/Trophies Coordinator (1 Volunteer) - Coordinate league picture day and season end team trophies
Secretary
The position of Secretary will be responsible for or delegating duties including:
- Maintain league files, mailing lists, and necessary records
- Coordinate annual/membership/Board meetings
- Record minutes of league Board meetings
- Information Officer (1 volunteer) - Maintains league website, communicates information to league membership, managers, board members
Treasurer
Responsibilities for the Treasurer of Loudoun South Little League include the following...
- Maintain bank account(s) and league finances
- Prepare annual budget
- Coordinate legal contracts and insurance
- Coordinate Federal, State, and local taxes
Player Agent
The Player Agent/Chief Operating Officer for Loudoun South Little League will be responsible for the following...
- The Player Agent will oversee, manage, and delegate responsibilities for the following:
- Registrar (1 volunteer) - Conducts on-line registration process, communicates with prospective league members concerning eligibility/age requirements/league boundaries; works with Player Agent to ensure timely access to player registration data
- Manager/Player Development (1 Volunteer) - Oversees summer league, coordinates manager and player clinics, and is high school liaison
- Majors Player Agent (1 Volunteer)
- AAA Player Agent (1 Volunteer)
- AA Player Agent (1 Volunteer)
- A Player Agent (1 Volunteer)
- Rookie/T-ball Player Agent (1 Volunteer)

- Recruit, train, and schedule a staff of umpires
- Oversee Rules Committee - Review, analyze, and recommend local rules to the Board
- Oversee Safety Officer (1 Volunteer) - Develop and implement a safety
plan for increasing safety of activities, equipment, and facilities through
education, compliance and programs
Commissioner
The Commissioner for Loudoun South Little League will be responsible for overseeing, managing and delegating responsibilities for the following....
- Field Maintenance (1 Volunteer) - work with field maintenance contractor
to ensure playing fields are in excellent condition - Equipment (1 Volunteer) - maintain, inventory, distribute league equipment
to teams - Uniforms (1 Volunteer) - Coordinate the purchase and distribution of all
league uniforms - Scheduler (1 Volunteer) - Create practice and game schedule for all league
divisions. Responsible for requesting the use of all county fields. - Capital Projects (1 Volunteer) - assist in coordinating the upgrade of
fields with batting cages, pitching lanes, dugout roofs, and other capital
improvements
Director-at-Large
