2008 Los Alamitos 14U All Stars: Welcome
Monday, August 4
Los Alamitos 14U Girls All Stars finish the season with an overall record of 33-6-1. They were 5-0 in the Tourney until facing the 2008 National Champions - Snohomish Valley Washington in early bracket play. We we had them 4 - 0, but just could not hold on for the win.
The Team won three tournaments and finished second in another during the All Star season this year. In Championship Play they were District Finalists and the So - Cal State Champions. Way to go girls.
Thank you to everyone that made this trip and our season possible, without your support the girls would have been denied this "trip of a lifetime". We are very proud of our team and our community.

Long day ahead. Lots of good teams left in the Tourney. We play Snohomish Valley at 8:00 am. - also with a 5-0 record.

Hoping to give you all good news about the games today, but I am sorry to report that we are coming home. We had a great week in Salem, Oregon and saw some incredible softball. We will be leaving in the morning and will return to Los Al late Sunday night.
Thank you to everyone that made this trip and our season possible, without your support the girls would have been denied this "trip of a lifetime". We are very proud of our team and our community.

Friday, August 1
Rained today in Salem. Won both games today. 8-0 over Central Panthers - Oregon and 3-0 over Belmont Blasters - San Francisco area. Second game was a close one. They challenged us with some big hits. Our pitching was solid throughout the game and was backed up by some awesome defense. We play again tommorow at 8:00 a.m. Off to dinner at the Roadhouse.
Friday, August 1
We are off to a good start 3-0 in pool play. Scored 31 runs allowed 7. Start Elimination Play today at 10:00 and 2:00. The girls are having a great time and are ready to kick some butt. We had an awesome Karaoke Party last night hosted by Francis Ampudia. Check the links page for up to the minute game scores and check the albums page for lots of pictures. Thanks for your support.

We won!!! 10-4. Off to Opening Ceremonies.

Monday, July 28
After a long bus ride we made it to Salem. We arrived at around 2:30 p.m. The Coaches are preparing to attend the Coaches meeting and draw tonight. We will update our entire schedule tonight through friday morning once the draw is completed. The girls are getting ready for dinner and will take a short walk (or run if Coach Chris has his way) to the check-in tonight and will be ready for an early bedtime. Lots of cat naps on the bus, very comfortable but not the Ritz. The Hotel we are staying at is awesome. Thanks Kathy and Christine. We will all be tired tonight when finally hit the pillow.
The first possible pool play game on Tuesday is 10 a.m. We will keep you posted.
