 THE LONG ISLAND HEAT WILL BE HOSTING OUR 11TH ANNUAL GREAT BALLS OF FIRE - PONY NATIONAL QUALIFIER TOURNAMENT ON JUNE 8 & 9, 2013 AT SIPP AVE FIELD IN MEDFORD, NY. WE WILL HAVE DIVISIONS FOR 12U, 14U, 16U AND 18U. THE COST OF THE TOURNAMENT IS $550.00 WITH A FOUR GAME GUARANTEE. PLEASE GO TO PONY.ORG TO REGISTER. THIS TOURNAMENT SELLS OUT FAST EVERY YEAR.   • NY-27/Sunrise Highway east to Exit 53 (NY-112)
  • Proceed to the service road and make a left at the first light onto NY-112
  • North on NY-112 to CR-99/Woodside Ave
  • Make a right onto CR-99/Woodside Ave and proceed east
  • At the first light past Hospital Rd, make a left onto Sipp Ave
  • Field is located on the right past the soccer fields


From North

  • I-495/Long Island Expressway east to Exit 64 (NY-112)
  • Proceed to the service road and make a right at the first light onto NY-112
  • South on NY-112 to CR-99/Woodside Ave (approximately two miles)
  • Make a left onto CR-99/Woodside Ave and proceed east

  The Long Island Heat organization is a registered 501-C3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the development of young women as student athletes. Our teams play at a highly competitive level throughout the Northeast, facing some of the best competition available. Over the past ten years the Heat organization has steadily grown into a major name in fastpitch softball, with tournament championships as well as success at the National and Showcase levels, including Top Ten finishes at PONY, ASA and FAST Nationals and several Bracket Championships.

Welcome to the on-line home of the Long Island Heat Fastpitch Softball organization.  

The Long Island Heat is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of young women as student athletes. Our teams play at a highly competitive level throughout the Northeast, facing some of the best competition available.
