Fury red, I'm glad you guys represented well in the cooperstown allstar village tournament. I'm glad Tom, Willem, Ramon, Jarrett, Christian and Conner were able to see this journey from the beginning to the end. I wish I could have been there, but I hope to hear all about the wonderful experiences and memories. Thank you Tom and Jon for stepping in for me, and I hope to see you guys soon. Take care Chris

Chris, it was nice seeing you at practice yesterday. Alex said you are a good coach and hopes you pick our time to work with this coming summer.

I can see the guestbook doesn't get much attention anymore. How's everyone doing? I hope both teams are doing well. I thought I would give you guys a little up date since I took a break from the fury.   I was really looking forward this spring to attending alot of my oldest son's track meets. Well, he hurt his hand in early Feb. and his season has ended due to this freak injury. As you know, Nick has been playing down at elb pony and he hurt his ankle and missed 5 games due to his injury. Good thing I gave up coaching this spring to watch my kids sit on the sidelines with injuries. I'm hoping sometime during the early part of the summer, I will be back to helping out the fury on a full time basis (with one team or the other). Anyway, miss you guys and looking forward to seeing everyone soon. CC

Ramon and Jarrett, thanks for the kind words. I miss you guys as well as the team. I'm in contact with Dylan all the time, constantly keeping updated with both teams. I hope by the early part of the summer I can resume helping out the Fury in some capacity. Nick has been practicing alot with his league team. His season begins the same day the Fury tournament is scheduled. Maybe I can come see how everyone is doing on that Sunday. Anyway, good luck guys and kick some a**.

FURY Tournament - Feb 26th & 27th

Ages 8u - 12u in Garden Grove & Westminster - most Fields have fences!

This is a 3 game guarantee, we supply the Diamond Baseballs & Umpires.

We are trying to provide more of an experience for the kids than just the SAME 'OL TOURNAMENT. We will be having some of the things the kids love best from Tournaments around the Country.

Skills Contest:
Home Run Derby - this is for each age level on Fields with fences at appropriate distances. Each Team may enter up to 3 Participants and we'll have a HOME RUN DERBY Championship Award for each winner of their age level.

Speed Demon - this is for each age level on Fields with appropriate base distances. The boys are against the clock on a trip around the bases. Each Team may enter up to 3 Participants and we'll have a SPEED DEMON Championship Award for each winner of their age level.

Flame Thrower - this is for each age level. The boys will have 3 throws from 40 - 45 feet that will be tracked on the radar gun. Each Team may enter up to 3 Participants and we'll have FLAME THROWER Championship Awards for each age level.

We will be doing these activities at set times on Saturday, spread out so that the entire Team can cheer on their Teammates. The Skills Contest will be held at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE per Participant - we want to build something that is about the kids, not about money!

Nick and the Yates family, thank you so much for all of your sacrifices to the Fury team(s). Coach Chris made such a positive impact with Jarett over the years that will last for the rest of Jarett's baseball career both as a player and a future father coach. We were fortunate to have Coach Chris for as long as we did.

Best of luck Coach Chris. You will be missed.   Hope to see you on the diamond again one day.

Jarett says, you owe him a day of paint-balling and he plans to collect....

Ramon, Jarett and the Velez family.

Hey guys! I hope everyone has a fantastic New Year' Eve! I found this article and thought you'd like to see it:

Regional Powerhouses Continue to Win
Stars from VA and Fury from CA earn victories.

Austyn Tengan’s walk-off steal of home, lifts Fury Elite to victory over Club All Star Blue
Las Vegas — Austyn Tengan’s steal of home in the bottom of the 6th gave the Fury Elite, of Long Beach, California, a 4-3 victory over the Club All Star Blue in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.

After Dominic Zerillo singled, scoring J. Armenia, the game was tied in the 6th with zero outs. Following an intentional walk to Logan Pollack, Tengan would steal home after a first pitch strike to Robert Carranza, winning the game for the Fury Elite in walk-off fashion.

In the second, the Fury Elite went up 1-0 on a sacrifice bunt by Austin Green, a run that would hold up until the Club All Stars plated 3 in the top of the 6th.

The Fury Elite improved to 19-4-1 with the 4-3 win.
