London Lightning Fastball: Welcome
Welcome to London Lightning Fastball
The London Lightning Fastball Organization, is dedicated to providing girls within the London Ontario region, with the opportunity to play competitive fastball at the elite Tier 1 level with the goal of competing at the provincial and national levels.
London Lightning would like to announce the date of its Annual General Meeting
Tuesday October 6th 2009 beginning at 7pm -10 pm at North London Optimist Community Centre
All interested parties are welcome to attend.
Bantam Team Returns with a Gold at the Eastern Canadian Championships!
Congratulations to the London Lightning Bantam Team in competing in the Eastern Canadian Championships in Bathhurst, New Brunswick. The bantam team had a great week beating Cole Harbor Comets 24-1 in their first game of the tournament, in the second game the Lightning faced the west Royalty Rockets winning by the score of 9-0, in the third game of the tournament the London lightning faced Chaluer winning the game by the score of 22-6, the fourth game of the tournament the Lightning faced the Stothart Strateford in a close game the Lightning game away with it 2-0.
The Lightning going undefeated in the tournament faced a tough challenge in their Southwestern Ontario rivals the Stratford Flames in the Championship game. The Lightning battled out the win 2-1 to come home wearing gold. Congratulations to Stacie Cox in winning the tournament MVP!

Skills Clinics:
London Lightning will be hosting skills clinics for mite (age 9-10)/squirt( age 11-12), and novice (age 13-14)/bantams (age 15-16)
Saturday September 12, 19, 26th at Stronach Park
Mite/ Squirt 9 am - 11 am
Novice/ Bantam 11 am -1 pm.
