London Fury Inline (Roller) Hockey: FAQ

What is Roller Hockey?
Roller hockey is fast, exciting, and high scoring.
It's played with inline skates (aka roller blades) and
uses a puck on a concrete surface. It's played at
rinks during the summer months -- of course, without
the ice! It's 4 on 4, no offsides and no icings, so
it's wide open. The name of the game is offense. Game
of 8-7 or higher are not uncommon!

Equipment for Roller Hockey
London Hockey Inline is more than a few players out on
a parking lot. It is a structured league sanctioned
under the national governing body (Canadian Inline).
Each game has two refs and consisting of two 17 minute
stop time halves (stop time means the clock does not
run when the puck is not in play).

All Players Must Wear:

  • CSA approved helmet Full Mask (if playing in youth divisions)
