4/30/09--Ceasar Teran hit his 5th HR of the season as Daman Perry pitched 5
          strong innings and Joey Hernandez closed the game in a 7-2 Angel
          victory over the Yankees.

5/2/09--Ceasar Teran, yes, you guessed it jerked another one, his 6th HR.     
        Joey Hernandez, also provided some power bombing his 2nd HR of the   
        year. He and Brandon Quintero pitched a great game allowing only
        2 runs for another Halo victory 7-2 over the Yanks.

March 10th: Ceasar Teran hit his 1st HR of the season, a blast to deep center!!!

March 14th: Ceasar Teran hit his 2nd HR and Joey Hernandez went back to back, clearing the fence with his 1st HR of the season, helping the Angels beat the Diamondbacks 10-3!!!

March 19th: Daman Perry pitched a 6 INNING COMPLETE GAME, striking out 10, only walking 1, and gave up only 1 earned run, leading the Angels to a 7-1 victory over the Yankees.

March 28th: Ceasar Teran bombed his 3rd HR of the season, a 2 run shot in a 10-3 victory for the Angels over the Astros!!!

April 4th: Ceasar Teran blasted a 3 run HR, his 4th of the season, helping the Angels beat the Diamondbacks, 10-4!!

Finishing the first half of the season record stands at 5 & 7

On Thursday 04/16/09, starting the second half of the season, the Diamond Backs squared off with the Yankees at the beginning of the game. It looked as though we were going to take the first game...but things started getting tough in the tope of the 3rd, where the Yankees were scoring runs in bunches. Diamond Backs where not able to get back in the game offensively after that, but there where highlights in our defense where the ball was hit to Michael Collier, pitching at the time, making the catch for the first out with runners on first & second. Collier turned throws to Carlos Calderon forcing the out at second catching the runner off the base and the runner at first, heading towards second Carlos tagged the runner creating a triple play. In another defensive play, with a runner on third, a fly ball hit to center field was caught by Darian Romasoc, with the runner tagging up at third heading to home to score, Darian throws the ball to the catcher Neguib Pacheco on one bounce tags the runner forcing the double play final score was Diamond Back 4 Yankees 13

 There are highlights even when your team is on the loosing end!

In a game against the West Anaheim Fighting Irish on Monday, the AAA Pirates represented Loara Little League well, by pulling out an exciting 7-6 WIN!! Bryan Gonzalez pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings, while Frankie Nocella got the game winning hit..a double to right center field to score Joshua Lloyd with the game winner. It was a team effort for the Pirates, and fun was had by players and parents alike...GREAT JOB, PIRATES!!!

The Lil' Angels won their game tonight 13-6! Blanca Aguayo hit another GRAND SLAM and Alexis Gonzalez hit a two RBI TRIPLE!! GREAT JOB, GIRLS!!

4/1 - Junior Mets beat the Iron Birds in a back in forth game. Eros Villegas came into the game in relief to stop the Ironbirds from scoring while Harry Gonzalez hit a huge Double in the gap to score a couple of runs and Josh Garcia hit a Basesloaded clearing Triple to win the game for the Mets. But it took every player and there contributions to win this game. The Mets never gave up after trailing in the first inning. Great Come Back Mets !!

4/1 - The Double A Braves played a great game yesterday with Tyler Morrison and Christian Flores pitching lights out not giving up any runs. Great Job Braves!!!

Great game played by the Major Softball Bombshells against the East Anaheim Bruisers!!! Marissa Pitts hit a GRAND SLAM and Ashley Lerma hit a HOME RUN! GREAT PITCHING by Marissa Pitts and Kali Okabe. Jazz-nice catch in left field!! The defense was solid, and the hitting was contagious, to win 22-13! Great playing BOMBSHELLS!!!! Girls, you make LOARA PROUD!!!

 Angela Bernal in the 1st inning..she had a full count with bases loaded, hits a monster grand slam over the outfielders head!!! She made it home without errors!! At her next at bat, she hits a solo home run to continue the rally! GREAT JOB CYCLONES!!!

The Hurricanes pulled out their 1st victory of the season beating East Anaheim, behind GOOD pitching by Briana Morrison, and a HOME RUN by Alexcia Muniz down the left field line..GREAT JOB LADIES!!!!

The Major Team played Metro Pioneer and came out on top 9-7 with a GRAND SLAM hit by Sabrina Varela.  Sabrina hit a HOMERUN her first at bat and the GRANDSLAM, later in the game...GREAT TURNAROUND GIRLS!!!!! Also, Robert Hawthorn celebrated his 1st victory as a Major Softball Manager!

In the bottom half of the last inning of play, with the score tied at 9-9, Valeria Mejia started the inning with a walk and then stole 2nd, 3rd and HOME to win the game 10-9 for the CYCLONES, over the LIL ANGELS....GREAT GAME GIRLS!!!!
