Thank you for giving me the opportunity for trying out for the Heat. It was a pleasure meeting you when I tried out and learned a lot about the Heat. I really enjoyed having the chance to try out for your baseball team. I also want to thank you for getting together the tryout and having three other players there.
It was a very hard decision to decide which team to play for. It came down to which team was closer to where I live and who was playing all tournaments. All of the coaches and the players there seemed very nice and willing to teach each other and me. The drill I did in the beginning where we throw with just our arm was a great drill and will really strengthen my arm.
Good luck this season and I hope to see you in a tournament.

It's been a couple of months since we last spoke... I want to once again take this time to say THANK YOU (both). The Thank you is for the extra flexibility you demonstrated in having Robert tryout for the Livermore Heat, and for the warm and friendly "family like" atmosphere you and the Livermore Heat family have created!
I would like to echo what Jerry Slagle told me last fall... "The Livermore Heat organization is a class act - run by a very supportive group of people." I too can echo the same feelings.
FYI... Robert sent (or tried to send) you a thank you note via the U.S. mail, in January. Believe it or not, it was just recently returned to us with a stamp that says "attempted - not known unable to forward." We must have the wrong P.O. Box.
In any case, I'll retype the letter in another posting.
So for now, thank you... it looks like you've put another fine team together. Best of luck with the 2006 season, hope to see you on the tournament trail... and we'll be tracking the Livermore Heat fun and success!

Just wanted to thank Maria and Dave Owen for everything they have done for the Heat organization.
Maria, ever since we joined the team, you have been the most awesome team mom and fan. You always took made sure the boys had their drinks and bubble gum at practice and at the games! You were a totally dedicated team parent!
Dave, thanks for taking care of the equipment and lugging it around to all the tournaments. You and Maria have given so much to this team, and I want to say that it's very much appreciated.
Good Luck to Matt in NorCal. I know that he's going to do awesome! We look forward to seeing you at the tournaments and the team will definitely miss all of you.

Wow, what an incredible website you have! I think I read everything too. Really, I wish I would have seen it all sooner but I want to congratulate and sincerely thank you for attending and winning our tournament on June 26. I can't believe you played about 36 innings in 2 days and still had enough left against a great Xplosion team to pull off a victory in your final inning! You truly are a class act on and off the field and your team is what youth baseball should be all about. I wish everyone in your organization the best of luck!
