Thursday, July 8
Lima blows a huge lead
The Buckeyes had a 7-0 lead after three innings of play but were unable to hold on for the victory. Piqua came all the way back and won the game 10-7 to give Lima its fourth loss of the season.
Wednesday, July 7
Extra Inning win in Lima
The Buckeyes won a hard fought back and forth game Tuesday night in extra innings at Joe Bowers Field against the Lima Legion. Kyle Strawn started on the mound for the Buckeyes and Ross Guisinger finished the game picking up the victory. Lima will travel to Piqua tonight looking for their 12th win on the season.
Saturday, July 3
Buckeyes win slug fest
The Lima Buckeyes bounced back after suffering their third loss Thursday night to beat St. Mary's today 20-15. What seemed like homerun derby turned into a game that lasted almost 4 hours long. Brian Lybarger started the game on the mound and went 4.1 innings pitched, allowing 4 earned runs and left the game with a 13-4 lead in the top of the 5th inning.
Lima will stay in town for an away game on Tuesday as they face the Lima Legion. Game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Friday, July 2
Buckeyes win streak ends
Lima traveled to Decatur last night to tak on the Dirty Birds and walked away on the losing end for the first time since June 1st against Napoleon Legion. Buckeyes now stand at 9-3 on the summer and will be back in action Saturday at Kalida as they host St. Mary's Legion. First game is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Kalida's Holy Name Ballpark is home to the Lima Buckeyes and was built in 1949. In that same year, Kalida welcomed the Homestead Grays, which ended up being champions of the Professional Colored League. This field has the old ballpark feel and is great to watch baseball games day or night. Come out and watch the Lima Buckeyes at home this year:
