The Lightspeed Gold 18 Gold team played the recent Winter Rising Stars Showcase in Broward County, Florida in mid 30 degree temperatures. The Friday games were certainly disappointing with the Lightspeed team being unable to score runs. The Saturday games were wiped out due to unplayable fields and Sunday's temperature was, with the wind chill, in the 20's.
