End of the 2008 Season Letter From Jen Galek
Dear Lightning Parents and Players,
Lightning Basketball would like to take a moment and thank all of our parents and players for an outstanding 1st season. The coaching staff would like to also thank our players for their hard work, and dedication. We valued every family and player that was a part of our season. It is so awesome to have had the opportunity to be a part of each and everyones life. I am very happy to say that each and every player learned a little bit this year about basketball, themselves, and the team around them. To be competitive it takes a big time commitment, and a whole lot of hard work. It is the Lightning Organizations goal to see all of our girls aspire in life as well as basketball.
CONGRATULATIONS to Jackie Herman on receiving a Letter of intent from Arizona State University for Basketball. WAY TO GO Jackie you have worked hard and are an excellent example for younger players. This is an excellent opportunity for you as an incoming Junior and your future looks very bright! ASU has the PAC 10 Defensive Player of the Year, and All PAC 10 Player Lauren Lacey, they went 22-11 last year and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the last 4 years in a row. This is a very impressive place for any Lady Ballplayer to go, if you so choose. See you in 2009....
Sincerely,
Jennifer Galek
