Lightning Peewee A: Welcome

The Lightning proudly represent the Durham West Girls Hockey Association in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League. As Canada's largest girls hockey league, the Lightning play in Category A of the Peewee division which is composed of some of hockey's finest female players born in 1998 and 1999.
Based in the lakeside communities of Pickering and Ajax, Ontario, the Peewee Lightning will lace up for numerous exhibition games, 20 regular season games, league playoffs, 5 to 7 tournaments and the OWHA provincials.

The Buckeye Ice Breaker Tournament in Ohio slated for September 16th-19th, 2010 has been cancelled.
Monday, August 9
Although the Ice Breaker tournament in Columbus , Ohio was cancelled we are still going to Ohio. We have now entered into the 7th Annual "Ingite the Ice" Hockey Tournament" in Cleveland. Please note the change in dates as this tournament runs from Sept. 24-26th. We are stilling planning to leave on the Thursday by bus and will return late Sunday night.
