The mission of the Life Athletics Programs is to promote the student and professional athlete’s mental game learning and development. Consistent with Life Athletics mission to "educate the whole person", our Mental Skills Training program promotes the academic, social, emotional, athletic and personal development of all athletes using applied Mental Skills Training principles in a sport performance setting. Through a process of identifying the fears, mental barriers and other mental skills challenges, we are able to develop strategies to find and build on success.
We believe that a healthy, mentally tough mindset is the key element to improving performance and creating confidence. This unique approach is the very core of our mental skills training program and is used to assist athletes to achieve new heights in their athletic performance, and personal lives.
Mental Skills Training Specialists work with individuals, groups and organizations in the psychological factors which affect sport, exercise and physical activity such as:

* Composure in Competitive Environments
* Goal Setting
* Pre-Game Routine Development
* Positive Self Talk

One-on-one Sessions
For the most personalized experience, our one-on-one sessions are ideal for serious athletes who want to discuss the issues that are hindering peak performance. We work one-on-one to maximize the mental game coaching experience by offering one-one-one sport psychology sessions in three, six or twelve month packages consisting of 4 sessions per month. Group Clinics
Clinics will help you to:
1. Uncover the attitudes, behaviors and beliefs that are limiting individual performance.
2. Implement mental game strategies
3. Reveal "hot buttons" that can help the athlete enter the "flow" and stay there with confidence.
4. Fine tune and enhance the athletes Focus and Concentration.
5. Implement tools to help the athlete remain Composed in stressful competitive situations.
* Each clinic is ninety (90) minutes in length.
* Class size is limited to ten (10) participants maximum.
