Tryouts for the 2009/2010 Liberty 99 Team will be on August 5th from 6/9pm at Cortez park.The Park is located on the N/E corner of 35th ave/Dunlap. Our 2nd session of tryouts will be at Deer Valley Park on Aug 8th from 8/11am. That park is located just south of the 101 freeway on the west side of 19th ave.Please come early for both sessions to sign up and warm-up.

We are curently looking for the following position players to help fill some gaps left by our 98 players departures.

1-Pitcher,1-Catcher,1-Middlefielder,2-outfielders and possibly a player to see some time at 1st base

The Liberty Softball Organization lost a great friend and family member when Troy Whitney lost his life Sat. July 18th in a Freak Accident while out with friends and family. Lexi, Troy's daughter plan on and Troy helped coach our 14,16,and 18u teams from 2002/2007. I personally will miss him as good friend who was always there for our girls, my family and myself.-Jeff Chuirazzi LFPS 

Services for Troy were on 7-25-09, and was attended by the following girls form our Liberty Organization: Jessica Chuirazzi, Rachelle Chuirazzi, Danielle Russo, CeCe Kolesar, Vail Bradley, Kyla Christmas, Jennifer Lane, Paige Ovens, Brittany Manzoline, Kelsey Custer, and Stephanie Smith.
