Congratulations to Melissa Lomangino

Melissa pitched the last 3 innings of the 10u semi final game against New Hyde Park in the Merilon league, she had 8 strikeouts to put the team into the Championship game, Where she went on to pitch the last 3 innnings against Merilon, once again with 8 stikeouts to win the Championship Trophy.  Games played on June 22nd & 23rd

Tournaments

When we play Tournaments we must be at the field site and ready to go 60 minutes before game time. We will need to warm-up and go through a series of drills to get us prepared for the day.

Rules

• If you are going to be late (call)
• Oh yea (don't be late)
• If you are feeling sick during a game, tell the coaches
• Don't be a hero, if you get hurt during a game tell one of the coaches(ok little P)
• Drink plenty of water
• Bring a cold cloth to put on your head during innings
• The Health and Well-Being of the girls of THUNDER is and will always be our number one priority, as well as the girls who play against us.
• Remember it's just a game
• Win gracefully and lose gracefully
• Respect your teammates
• Respect your coaches
• Respect your parents
• Do not throw your helmet if you strikeout
• Hustle on to the field
• Hustle off the field
• No cell phones in the dugout
• No mp3 or ipods in the dugouts
• Players must remain in the dugouts
• Players who are not starting, must be ready to pinch-run
• KNOW where your glove and hat is all the time
