Lewisville Titans - Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading: 2009 Coaches & Team Parents
What is a Team Parent?Team Parents are the Communication Directors for each team between the organization, coaches, and parents. They make phone calls, hand out flyers and are available practice nights to help distribute information. They also provide half-time and end of game drinks for players or cheerleaders. They do concession stand scheduling and other tasks assigned by coaches or board members. They also help organize any team fund raisers for travel squads. These are very important roles and can be shared with other parents on the team. Roles may vary depending upon what the head coach would like.
If you are interested in being a team parent, please contact the Head Coach for your team and if you have already been named Team Parent for the season by your coach, you will need to register with our Team Parent Coordinator, Michelle Eller. You will need to complete a 2008 Volunteer Application listed under the handout section of this website. Contact info for Michelle is under 2008 Board Members.
