Board Position- Treasurer
Our current Treasurer, Dave Petterson has been with the Titans and served on the board for over 10 years. He desires to resign from his position prior to the beginning of the 2008 season. If you have a background in accounting or not-for profit management and you are interested in being a vital part of the financial success of our organization, then please contact Dave Petterson. His contact info can be found under the 2008 Board Members tab on this website.
Coaches- Football
If you are interested in coaching one of our football teams for the 2008 season, please contact our League Rep, Walt Davis or Wes Wright as soon as possible. This applies to returning coaches and new caches alike. You will also need to visit the Handouts section of this website to print the requires forms.
Coaches- Cheerleading
If you are interested in coaching one of our cheerleading squads fo the 2008 season, please contact our Cheer Director, Bobbi Wilson or Katy Channel as soon as possible. This applies to retruningcoaches and new coaches alike. You will also need to visit the Handouts section of this website to print out the required forms.

Board Members
Being a Board Member is a big responsiblity and requires alot of time and dedication to our organization. Board Members are voted in through an election process including votes from parents, current members and the current board members at the time of election.

The following items are required for you to be on the Board Election Ballot:
You must send written notification to the Secretary that you are interested in serving on the board at least 10 days in advance of the annual parents meeting. The Secretary will be accepting notification anytime after December 20, of the current year.
*You must be in good financial standing with the Titan Treasurer
*You must submit a criminal background check.
*Requirements of Elected Board Members
*All Board Members are required to attend monthly board meetings. You may not miss more than three unexcused board meetings in a row.
*You are expected to be at every practice and must work at least one night a week during practice and all day Saturday Home Games in either your designated area or the Concession Stand.
*You must be assigned one specific area of duty and help out as often as possible with other areas.
*You must attend and assist with Registration
*Board Members may be removed from the Board, if they do not fulfill their duties.

Be a Team Parent
Team Parents are the Communication Directors for each team between the organization, coaches, and parents. They make phone calls, hand out flyers and are available practice nights to help distribute information. They also provide half-time and end of game drinks for players or cheerleaders. They do concession stand scheduling and other tasks assigned by coach or board. They also help organize any team fundraisers for travel squads. These are very important roles and can be shared with other parents on the team. Please call or e-mail the head coach of the team or our 2008 Team Parent Rep. Michelle Eller, if interested in helping out with this important duty. We need at least one team parent for every team/squad.

Chain Crew
We need at least three members each game to work the chains. Chain crew members must be over 18 years of age and remain neutral during the games, as they are part of the officiating crew. If you would like to volunteer to do one game each home game or just do it occasionally it would be appreciated. Stop by the Boy's Equipment room to sign up or speak with your Team Parent.

Field Maintenance and Grounds Pick-Up
This involves mowing the field, painting the field for home games, fertlizing the field and other field duties including grounds pick-up during and after practices and home games. We also need help setting up the field early Saturday mornings and taking it down late Saturday afternoons.
We also need those willing to donate time and materials for general repairs and maintenance. Contact Wes Wright, Game Day Coordinator, if you can assist.

Let's Raise Some $$$
We need help in our 2007 fundraising efforts beginning immediately! We need creative fundraising ideas from our members. Please feel free to contact the Fundraising Coordinator with any fundraising ideas that you may have. Most team travel for regionals, nationals, etc is subsidized by our fundraising efforts.

Concessions
We always need help in the Concession Stand. We keep the Concession Stand open during practice and during all home games. After the first few weeks of practice parent volunteers will be assigned to work along with regular schedule concession workers. All board members, who are not assigned specific practice duties, work in the Concession Stand at least one practice night and during home games. This is a fun job and is greatly appreciated. Please e-mail or call Board Member, Misti Dozier at (336) 692-4328 if you are willing to help. If you can only work sometimes, that is okay -- we need you!

Football and Cheerleading Head Coaches and Assistants
Want the most rewarding volunteer opportunity on the field? Want to make a positive difference in a child's life? If you have answered yes, then maybe you should consider becoming a Coach for the Lewisville Titans. Coaching is a huge commitment, but the rewards are worth every second of it. There is nothing like watching a child's eyes light up when their team has just scored a touchdown, gave a game saving tackle or successfully completed an amazing cheer stunt. We have Head Coach and Assistant Coach opportunites available in both Football and Cheerleading for the 2007 season. If you are interested in becoming a Football coach, please contact Football Director, Walt Davis and for Cheerleading, contact Cheerleading Director, Bobby Wilson ot Katy Channel.
