Code of Conduct - Parents
I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my child participating in the Lewisville Titan organization by following this Parents Code of Conduct Pledge:

I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all participants, Coaches, Officials, Board Members, at any Titan or NWMFL event either at home or away.

I will demand an environment for my child that is drug free and alcohol free at all league sponsored events.

I will remember that the Titans are for the youth and not adults. I will not use the Titans as a babysitting service and I will supervise my child in the program and any other children I bring to the field. This includes practice and games.

I will do my best to make this organization fun for my child.

I will ask my child to treat other participants, coaches, board members, parents, and spectators with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.

I will along with any guest of mine refrain from any vulgar, lewd or obscene language or gestures while participating in, or watching any league sponsored event whether at home or away.

I will strive to be a good role model for my child and the other children in the program. I will encourage my child to learn to lose with dignity and win with grace.

I will direct all my comments and criticisms to parents, participants, coaches, officials, board members away from the children participating in the league, and conduct myself in a calm, civilized manner when doing so. I will not disturb them when they are busy working and/or coaching, but will speak to them at an appropriate time.

I will respect my child’s coach and do my best to have my child at all practices on time. I will recognize the importance of volunteer coaches. I realize they are important to the development of my child and the sport. I will communicate with them and support them. I will not interrupt them during games or practices.

I will never yell or physically abuse my child after the game.

Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct will automatically render the parent unable to participate or attend an organizational sponsored event either home or away. The Lewisville Titan Board Members have the sole right to enforce violations; however, the parent may appeal through the Disciplinary Committee.


Code of Conduct - Participants
I hereby pledge to demonstrate good sportsmanship and show
encouragement to my teammates participating in the Lewisville Titan organization by following this Participants Code of Conduct Pledge:

I will support and be respectful to all coaches, board members, and adult volunteers, teammates, parents, opponents, and officials.

I will be a team player and I will work hard to improve my skills. I will learn the rules and play by them. I will be a good sport and set a positive example for others. I will learn to lose with dignity and to win with grace.

I will refrain from any vulgar, lewd,or obscene language or gestures while participating in, or watching any league sponsored event whethr at home or away.

I will not smoke, drink alcohol or any other illegal substance during any team function. Failure to abide this policy will result in immediate dismissal from the team.

Any behavior that reflects poorly on the team during any official team function will result in immediate disciplinary action as decided by the coaches.

I will be on time for practice and inform my coach in advance when I will be unable to make practice unless an emergency arises.

Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct will automatically render the child unable to participate or attend an organizational sponsored event either home or away. The Lewisville Titan Board Members have the
sole right to enforce violations; however, the participant may appeal through the Disciplinary Committee.


Code of Conduct - Coaches
I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my team participating in the Lewisville Titan organization by following this Coaches Code of Conduct Pledge:

I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all participants, Officials, Board Members, at any Titan or NWMFL event either at home or away.

I will support all coaches, board members, and others working with my Team, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all. I will insist that my Team participates in a safe and healthy environment. I will demand an environment for my Team that is drug free and alcohol free at all league sponsored events. I will remember that the League is for the youth and -- not for Coaches. I will do my best to make this League fun for all involved.

I will ask my Team to treat other participants, coaches, board members, parents, and spectators with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability. I will refrain from any vulgar, lewd or obscene language or gestures while participating in, or watching any league sponsored event whether home or away. I will never verbally or physically abuse a player or official.

I will strive to be a positive role mode for my players. I will give all players the opportunity to improve their skills, gain confidence and develop self-esteem. I will familiarize myself with the rules, techniques and strategies of football. I will encourage all players to be team players. I will maintain an open line of communication with my player’s parents. I will address any challenges in this area with the boys director.

I will direct all my comments and criticisms to parents, participants, officials, board members away from the children participating in the league, and conduct myself in a calm, civilized manner when doing so.

I will read the Northwest Midget Football League and National Pop Warner rules and regulations, and agree to abide by those rules, responsibilities, and Code of Conduct. Violations of these rules could result in disciplinary action up to and including permanent dismissal from the Lewisville Titans Organization.

Failure of the coach to abide by this Code of Conduct will automatically render the coach unable to participate or attend an organizational sponsored event either home or away. The Lewisville Titan Board Members have the sole right to enforce violations; however, the Coach may appeal through the Disciplinary Committee.


Code of Conduct - Board Members
I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for all children participating in the Lewisville Titan organization by following this Board Members Code of Conduct Pledge:

I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all participants, Coaches, Officials, other Board Members,and parents at any Titan or NWMFL event either at home or away.

I will demand an environment for the participants that is drug free and alcohol free at all league sponsored events.

I will remember that the Titans are for the youth and not adults.

I will do my best to make this organization fun for all children.

I will refrain from any vulgar, lewd or obscene language or gestures while participating in, or watching any league sponsored event whether at home or away.

I will direct all my comments and criticisms to parents, participants, officials, other board members away from the children participating in the league, and conduct myself in a calm, civilized manner when doing so.

I will strive to be a good role model for all participants in the program.

The Lewisville Titan Board Members have the sole right to enforce violations; however, the member may appeal through the Disciplinary Committee.


Violations of Code of Conduct
Violations of Code of Conduct should be reported to the appropriate individual as listed below:

Board Members/Parents - President or Vice President

Cheerleaders/Girls Coaches - Girls Director

Football Players/ Boys Coaches - Boys Director/NWMFL Rep

Action taken once violation is reported:

Appropriate individual will decide whether the action is a violation of the Code of Conduct and this person will based upon the severity of the action, decide whether to issue a warning or ban the individual from game(s) and/or practices(s) and if serious enough remove them from the Titan organization.

Disciplinary Committee will be formed consisting of (Boys Director, Girls Director, President and two non-board members appointed by president and approved by the board of directors). Disciplinary Committee will review all appeals and their decision will be binding.
