Practice Information
All practices are held at Southwest Elementary School unless you receive notification otherwise. This year Practice will begin on Saturday August 1st at 9am. It is imperative that ALL paperwork be turned in beforehand. Players who have not turned in all of their paperwork along with their physical and any who have not paid their registration fee will not be allowed to continue to practice after Thursday August 6th. We ask that a responsible party remain at all times during practice in case an emergency of any kind arises. Practice may be cut short without prior announcement due to weather, darkness, etc. Please make sure that your child has arrangements to be picked up on time or that someone is available should practice be cut short. There will be a $15 dollar late fee if you fail to pick your child up on time.For Tackle Football Players Only:
Once the season starts we are only allowed to have two heavy football practices in the weeks we have games. Your coach will advise you which night is your light practice night. They may be different among the football squads.
Heavy Practice: All pads, helmet & equipment.
Light Practice: Helmet, Shirts & shorts/pants only (NO PADS)

Rain Policy

WE PLAY IN THE RAIN! The kids actually like playing in the rain, although we parents don't always enjoy cleaning up the muddy mess! We practice in the rain because on game day, the kids need experience playing on damp or wet soil. If we keep them out of the rain during practice, it will inhibit their playing skills during rain on a game day. We will not practice if there is lightning. Please come to the field unless you receive a call from your coach or team mom telling you that practice is cancelled, it maybe raining at your house but not at the field. Cheerleader's practice may be cancelled or moved indoors. You coach should inform you if this happens.

Pet Policy

NO PETS ALLOWED! We love pets too, but we need to ask you to leave them at home due to safety reasons. We have a large number of parents and children out here and we need to protect them.

Concession Stand

Our Concession Stand is open during practice to serve you. We normally open when practice starts. We do have to close approximately one half hour before practice is over so we can get cleaned up and get home at a decent hour. You will be scheduled a concession shift by your team parent however, we invite you to come help us out anytime - you can even sign up to help us on a regular basis. So come on out and visit the Concession Stand - all profits go to reduce registration fees.

Trash

Please help keep our field and grounds free of litter. Please pick up any trash you see on the ground and place in a trash can. It is our duty to keep the area free of trash to be able to use the school grounds. Thanks for your help!

Parking Policy

The parking lot closest to the Titan Field house is reserved for Coaches and Board Members only. They often have supplies and equipment that needs to be unloaded and taken to the field. This applies to game days and practice days. Please DO NOT park on the grass. Please be courteous to others and do not double park your vehicle, block other vehicles in or block an entrance or exit.
**ALL ENTRANCES MUST BE CLEARED IN CASE EMERGENCY VEHICLES ARE NEEDED AT THE FIELD**
Vehicles in violation are subject to be towed at the owners expense.
