Welcome 2013

Lents Players, Families and Fans!

We have opened our online registration for the 2013 Spring Season!  

We are currently holding 2013 Player Evaluations/Tryouts.  Last eval/tryout is this Saturday February 23rd at Lents Little League at SE 88th and SE Holgate.  You can also sign up your player at the same time.  

       Baseball Ages 11-12: 9:30 am - 11:30 am                                     Baseball Ages 8-10   11:30 am - 1:30 pm                                 Softball ages 8-12: 2 pm to 4 pm                                            Please come with water and dress prepared to practice (cleats, comfortable clothing)      

       Opening Day: April 6th at 10 am!

Picture Day: April 7th!  Times to be announced.

We are still looking for Volunteers!  We are looking for Managers, Coaches, Team Mom/Dad and Umpires.  Please stop by the league and fill out a volunteer form and Manager/Coach Application.  It is only $2.00 for a background check.  We also have open positons on the Board Of Directors. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard.  Come on down and volunteer!  Your kids will love you for it!

Welcome to our new Lents Little League President Geoff Rosenberger!  We all are very excited to have Geoff on board as President and will miss Sue Bush!  A big welcome to our new board members and welcome back to our returning members!  We have a few open positions available on the board if anyone would be interested in having a voice.  We have board meetings the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.  

We are so excited to announce a new division for Baseball Players ages 12-13 and 11 years old will be considered via tryout.  The new division is called Little League Intermediate 50' 70' Division.  Competitive Play - Lead Off Stealing - 70' Base Paths.      

Thanks to a very generous donation from the Friends of Baseball we have some baseball/softball cleats and gloves available for those in need.  Please feel free to ask at the office and we will see if we can find the size you need.  Mostly smaller sizes for both gloves and cleats but we can always check!  Thank you Friends of Baseball!!  We also received helmets, bats and bat bags!  

 Volunteers needed!  We are looking for volunteers for the 2013 Spring Season!  We are looking for managers/coaches/umpires/board members/team mom & dad/concession stand workers/and much more.  The league is run 100% by volunteers and the more volunteers we have the better the league is for our children!  So please stop by the league during registration times or whenever office is open and fill out a volunteer form.  It is only $2 to have a background check completed.  What a small price for such a big payoff when you see all the kids smiling faces!  Hope to see you all soon!!

Two wonderful leagues have joined forces to provide 12 major and junior teams

with a tournament to kick off the summer!

Games are being held at both little leagues,

These meeting are very important and help the season to run smooth! We cannot wait to get our players on the field!

There are MANY duties involved with each team. Please be willing to lend a hand where you can and support your team's managers and coaches. Scorekeepers, Team Parents etc. are very important roles that complete the team. If you are new, don't fret! There is always someone willing to help you out, just let us know!
