There may be an opportunity for a certain number of freshmen to play in the JV scrimmages and/or JV games. This opportunity is generally awarded to players who excel on the field and demonstrate the skills required to play at the next level. When the JV team plays a game on the freshmen off day, there may be the opportunity for players to move up onto the JV team for that game.
