My friend said he knew a man with a wooden leg named Smith.
So I asked him, "What was the name of his other leg?"
Why is this funny?
It's funny because of the confusion between these two phrases;
"a man with a wooden leg" and "a wooden leg named Smith."

Nice to see the league still going, our team used to play in the Leigh League in the late 80's under Hindley Green Celtic, then the Bridgewater Arms from Liverpool Road Hindley.

Nice to see the Leigh League moving with the times. From 12000 miles away its good to be able to read how the football in Leigh is doing. Pity more of the teams involved dont use the facility.
