Legends Sports fund : Welcome

I have been running league and recreational events for 17 years and what I have observed is that sports and recreation is good for the communities and good for everyone around. The hardest thing to do is raise money to put your kids through your camps and clinic’s and leagues. Me as a parents and someone that wants kids and adults to get as much exposure as they can , respects the need and the desirer to be able to afford specialized sports. the only way that I can happen is by developing fund for all parties involved . By creating a neutral fund raising effort that crates money for dependent parents, Independent sports teams, Scholarship fund for kids that want to move to the next level, support park and recreation staff.

The concept is simple Legends Sports Fund created sports raffle tickets for individual groups there groups i.e., Bars, Businesses, Teams and parents with active families. Theses Groups sell Sports raffle tickets that are based on the NBA NFL and MLB each ticket has a schedule on the back of the ticket . Every ticket is different and not one is the same. The tickets will have two teams each week , each teams points are tracked ( note because of the long schedules of some leagues there are certain games that count. I.e. MLB only Saturday games count.) The ticket holder with the most points @ the end of the season will win cash and the person with the lowest amount of points gets Cash.

#1 Goal to rise money for underprivileged youth Population in the Dane county area.

Parents will have to fill out a short application and submit last years tax returns. The goal is to give as much as we can . We are projecting 5,000 in the account for the first fundraiser.

#2 Support area parks and independent organizers. Additional referees , unexpected maintenance,

#3 Help parents and independent teams and league sponsors develop funds through Legends Sports Fund for uniforms league fees and Gas and Hotel. We will have raised 7,000 for new uniforms and equipment, league & tournament fees, tournament travel expenses,

I have had parents tell me it cost as high as 15,000 a year to travel with there kids to tournaments .

It is simple to start

2. Tell me you what to do IT I will print tickets 435 tickets if you sell out I will print another batch.

3. The group organizer will be the point man you will either sell the tickets your self or give them to your other to sell.

4. The group organizer will be provided with a sheet of paper to track who you gave the tickets to. Please remember to get phone #s to make pick up that much faster.

5. Just before the event has started Legends Sports Fund will come and collect the tickets and cash and pay you for the amount of tickets you sold.

6. Legends Sports Fund will post the scores when half the season is over and @ the end of the year.

7 All tickets were distributed in batches those batched will get 45 % of the funds 30% goes to scholarship , parks and 25% for administrative cost.

8. All tickets not turned in when the season start will not be counted and all tickets and cash must be turned in.
