Laramie Youth Baseball: Summer 2012 Divisions
For players who are 9, 10, and 11 years of age as of April 30th. All 9 year old players will play in this league. All games will be played on Red or Green Field at the Little League Complex on Armory Road (east of the Sandy Aragon Field).
TeeBall
T-ball format for players 4,5 and 6 years of age as of April 30th. Games are played at LaBonte Park on Optimist Field located at the southwest corner of the park.
Pitching Machine
Pitching machine league for players 7 and 8 years of age as of April 30th. Games are played at Roney and Kiwanis Fields located in LaBonte Park.
Little League Majors
For players 10, 11, and 12 years of age as of April 30th. Those players who have not previously played in the Little League Major division must try out (April 8 and 9, LYB Complex). Games are played on the Red and Green Fields at the Little League Complex on Armory Road (east of the Sandy Aragon Field). All 12 year olds (12 as of April 30) must play in the Major Division. If the parent or guardian has concerns about a 12 year old playing in the Major Division due to a possible safety issue, they may petition the Laramie Youth Baseball Board in writing to allow the 12 year old to play in the Minor Leagur Division. Both the LYB board and the District Administrator for Laramie Little League Baseball must approve the waiver.
Jr. Babe Ruth
For players 13, 14, and 15 years of age as of April 30th. Games are played on Gold Field at the Little League Complex on Armory Road (east of the Sandy Aragon Field). Skill assessment (tryouts) will be Wed. April 8th and Thursday April 9, at the LYB Baseball complex on Armory Road
Junior Babe Ruth
