Bulldogs sweep Miller County in playoff
LAKELAND - The Bulldogs hosted Miller County in a cross-over playoff and swept the Pirates in a three game set, 11-1 and 8-2 to clinch a playoff berth for the 3rd straight year in a row. Nathan Bass and Ryan Allen both picked up wins on the mound. Ryan White and Ethan Mcrae each came on strong in relief. At the plate, Jordan Patten, Ryan White and Ethan Mcrae led the offensive attack with 2 hits apiece in the series. Lanier County improves (16-7) on the year and will continue their 2007 season in the state playoffs on Friday, May 11th in Columbus against Pacelli Catholic.
