Lanier High Catcher, Ethan Mcrae was selected as the Georgia Dugout Club's player of the week. Mcrae leads the Valdosta area with a (.616) BA, along with his 13 doubles and 20 runs batted in. Mcrae recieve this weeks honor by going 8 for 13 at the plate and throwing out 6 of 8 baserunners attempting to steal. He also picked off two from behind the plate. Ethan is the fourteen year old son of Tammy Fender of Stockon, GA.
