Lakeside Longhorns Football & Cheer: Equipment

Uniforms: Due to the high cost of uniforms, the care of each uniform is extremely important. Therefore, we recommend the following:

Helmet: Must be cleaned and cared for using approved cleaning materials. No abrasive cleaners of any type may be used. No buffing or sanding may be done. Any variance from the manufacturer’s instruction WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. Helmet must not be painted or altered in any way! The warning stickers must remain clearly visible and legible.

Pads: Do not cut pads or wash with the uniform. When pads become soiled they may be hand washed with a mild detergent and air-dried. DO NOT PLACE PADS IN WASHER OR DRYER

Uniform: A cold water detergent is recommended. Uniforms should not be placed in the dryer . Please hang them up to dry !!

Pom Poms: Do not leave them in the sun other than during a game.

Cheer Uniforms: Uniforms should be dry cleaned if extremely soiled. Cheer Uniforms are to be worn for games and Team Functions ONLY!

Failure to Return Uniforms & Gear All issued items are the property of Lakeside Youth Football and are on loan to Football Players and must be returned at the end of the season.

Items not returned within two weeks after the last game will be considered missing and you will be expected to pay the full replacement value. No trophies will be given to Players with outstanding gear.
