GU10 - NEW TEAM We will be holding tryouts for a new girls U10 travel team for the upcoming fall '09 season. Any girls born between 8/1/99 and 7/31/00 that are interested in playing we will be holding tryouts Tuesday, 6/30 at Raynor Beach Park from 5:00-6:30. Raynor Beach is located on Ronkonkoma Ave, north of the LIE and just before Kohl's when traveling north. The Lake Grove Rampage is currently a strong Div S3 team looking to move up to Div S2 in the fall and looking to become Div 1. The Rampage are professionally coached and trained. We practice 2-3 times per week and practice indoors in the winter. We are looking to add players who are dedicated and would like to take their game to the next level. The Rampage welcomes all those interested in joining a serious team with great chemistry. The Galaxy are Professionally trained and have a Licensed Dedicated Coach (B & C). We practice 2-3 times per week as well as practice indoor in the winter. The Lake Grove Cobras are currently a Division 3 team which still has a few open spots available for players looking for a new beginning. We will be a BU13 team for the Fall 2009 season and have high aspirations of attaining Division 1 status within the coming year. Our goal as coaches and trainers is to instill a respect for the game of soccer and all its participants, while developing the skills needed to succeed on and off the field. The Cobras are professionally trained and practice three times each week. Our team participates in a number of local and out-of-state tournaments throughout the year, including some of the following: Spring Kick-off Pocono Cup Soccer Tournament Adidas Potomac Memorial Tournament East End Soccer Tournament East Meadow Covanta Tournament In addition, the Cobras play in an indoor league over the winter and participate in various indoor soccer tournaments between the fall and spring seasons. The Titans are a professionally trained team practicing 1 - 2 times a week. The Titans play year round and participate in the Fall season, indoor Winter league and Spring season. In the summer, the Titans have a week long camp with their trainer. The Titans look forward to participating in Tournaments in the 2009-2010 season commencing this Summer. The Titans are looking for players ready to help this team reach new levels. Since the new coaching staff and trainer took over the Titans last Fall, their play has improved dramatically. Our goal is to create a positive atmosphere while promoting a winning attitude. We are professionally trained twice a week during the season and continue training throughout the year. We have a very strong group of core-players and are ready to make a move to Division-1. The REBELS play year around. We are the Winter 2008 & Winter 2009 KK Athletics Winter League Champions and two times Waldbaum Cup Champions. In addition we play an average five to six tournaments during the year. Lightning has been at the top of its division for the last 2 seasons, was a State Open Cup Quarterfinalist this year and has gone to Waldbaum’s Finals both this year and last. Lightning’s’ goal is to go Premier next spring. Lighting attends tournaments throughout the year and is beginning to look at the process of attending College Showcases. We are looking for a dedicated keeper to allow our two current keepers more field time. We are looking for a few additional players. We realize that players have other commitments, as most of the current players also participate in other school and club sports, and we do our best to work-around around potential scheduling conflicts. Currently U17, we will field as a U19 team in the Fall and Spring and play Futsal in the Winter. We will also play in 3-4 tournaments during the year. All positions are welcome.
