Lady Warriors 97 Elite: Welcome
|
Since its formation in 1982, THE Warrior Soccer Club has been defining the soccer community of the southern Ohio region: strong, committed, and firm in the belief that all kids benefit from the team/family approach to the sport.
Mission
It is the mission of the Lady Warriors Elite Program to provide a positive, competitive youth Soccer experience for player, parent and coach. We emphasize long-term player development of physical, emotional and social skills. This includes developing technical and tactical soccer skills in accordance with age-appropriate recommendations of the US Youth Soccer, NSCAA, & ODP player development programs. While winning is one priority in select soccer, winning will not be placed above good sportsmanship (defined as respecting rules, opponents, officials, teammates, and one’s self) or what is best for the team or any individual athlete. It is our goal to create an environment that will benefit the individual as well as the team. We believe a positive team sport experience will promote today’s youth through the teaching of leadership, responsibility, sportsmanship, and fair play.
The Lady Warriors 97 Elite started play in the fall of 09 and play in the US Youth Soccer Region II’s Midwest Regional League & THE Premiere League (TPL) for girls under the age of 14. Our mission is to produce tough, confident and well balanced players through development, hard work, team play, and training.
