Warriors fall in Semi - Finals
Last week the Bay State Renegades and Western Ma Warriors battled to a 6-6 tie through 4 quarters of play and 2 overtime periods.
Just as the second overtime period ended, three of the refs informed both teams they had other games to attend, and jogged off. This left both teams on the sidelines for an hour waiting for word from the league as to what would happen. It was at that point it was decided to replay the game in its entirety the following week.
The second time around turned out to be just as hard hitting and close as the first one with the Gades pulling out a tough 20-0 win in Holyoke to capture the northern conference.
The Warriors season comes to a close and finish with a 10-3 record.
The Warriors would like to thank everyone for their support and congratulations to everyone on a great season.

The Warriors are taking on a solid Bay State Renegades team who are coming off an impressive win over the Central MA Furry 38-7.
Bay State knocked off the Warriors 20-0 in their regular season match-up...

GET IN THE GAME!
July 19th: Warriors Open Regular Season with Win.
The Western Mass Warriors (New England Football League ) opened their 2008 season on the road in Alfred, Maine against the Notre Dame Cobras and came away with a 28-0 win. The Warriors will be back in action July 26th at Roberts Field in Holyoke against the Manchester Devils from Manchester, New Hampshire at 7:00 PM. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
