Sergio Torres

   Mr. Sergio Torres is the new Lady Lancer's Head Varsity Coach. This is Coach Sergio's third year as head coach in the girls program. He previously was the assistant coach in the Holy Cross boys program for 2 years. Coach Sergio is a graduate of  Holy Cross, class of 1991. He played soccer for the boys program, and was a member of the 1989 State Championship team and also a member of the Coaches Tournament Championship team. After graduating, he went on  to college at Long Island University where he received a full scholarship to play soccer. Coach Sergio graduated with a degree in liberal studies with a concentration in applied sciences. He continued to play soccer after college for one year for the South Jersey Barrons professional team. Coach Sergio holds a USSF "C"  coaching license. For the past 10 years he has been coaching soccer at all different levels. His most notable is at Arcadia University, where he was the women's assistant coach for 6 years. They won 3 PAC championships and played in the NCAA tournament for 2 years. He then went on to coach the South Jersey Banshees Semi-Professional women's soccer team for 2 years. Coach Sergio went on to coach the boys side for 3 years for Seneca High School and then finally at Holy Cross High School. He will be starting his third year as a Spanish teacher. He is married to a wonderful wife named Julie, who he has 2 beautiful children with. A girl named Anna and a boy named Nicolas. Coach Sergio is looking forward to the challenge this year. He feels that they have a well balanced team. Good Luck Lady Lancers.

Chris "Zip" Zirpoli
   Mr. Chris Zirpoli is the Junior Varsity Head Coach.This is Chris' third year with the JV. He also is an assistant Varsity coach. Chris attended Riverside High School, where he played baseball and soccer. At Riverside, he was Captain in 2002, 2nd Team All Group in 2001, 1st Team All Freedom Conference in 2001, 2nd Team All Freedom Conference in 2000 and a 3 Year Varsity Soccer letter winner in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He continued his soccer career at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa .He was a four year Varsity Soccer letter winner from 2002 to 2005. In college he was 2nd all-time in saves with 395 in 2005. Also, he was Team MVP in 2003 and Team Defensive MVP in 2004. Chris was a graduate Assistant Coach for Delaware Valley College in 2006. He is a trainer for International Sports Centre in Cherry Hill, N.J.and for Highland Soccer Club. He is a manager/player for FC Riverside. He loves spending time with his nephews Logan and Aiden. Chris has an Australian Cattle Dog named Keeper who takes alot of his free time since the dog needs to run and play everyday. Chris is a huge Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles. He plans on going back to school to get his masters in Education.
