Lady Jacket Golf: Lady Jacket News: Lady Jackets with season's second top 5 finish at the Glasgow Invitational

The Lady Jackets traveled to Glasgow to play in the Glasgow Lady Scottie Invitational on Saturday.  The par 71 Glasgow Country Club is know for its fast tour-like greens.  The team handled the fast greens well to score their second lowest tournament score of the season.  Again this week, the Lady Jackets competed against some of Kentucky's best girls' golf programs.  The Lady Jackets finished in fifth position with a score of 343.     

Becky Sharpe led the team with a 81.  She finished tied for ninth overall.  Kaylee Akins played well again to shoot 82.  Bethany Hamblin played steady to shoot 87 and Julia Higginbotham played her best major high school tournament round to shoot 93.   Kacie Cox improved to shoot 120.                         

Glasgow's Kylee Foushee won the individual honors with a par 71.  Caldwell County's Emma Talley finished 2nd with a 73.
