Lady Jacket Golf: Lady Jacket News: Lady Jackets finish 8th at Kentucky Invitational

The Lady Jackets traveled to Jamestown to play in Russell County's KIT(Kentucky Invitational Tournament) on Saturday.  The par 70 Lakewood Golf Course played short and gave up some very good team scores.  Some of Kentucky's best girls' programs participated in the 21 team event.  The Lady Jackets finished in the eighth position with a score of 351.     

Becky Sharpe led the team once again with a 78.  She finished tied for eighth overall.  North Hardin's Lydia Gumm won the individual honors with a 66.  Kaylee Akins played well to shoot 82.  Bethany Hamblin also played very well to shoot 87.  Julia Higginbotham shot 104 and Kacie Cox shot 122.
