Lady Jackets finish 8th at Central Hardin Invitational

The Lady Jackets traveled to Fort Knox this weekend to play in the Central Hardin Invitational.  This was the longest course the team has ever played.  The par 73 Lindsey Golf Course played to a length of over 5900 yards.  Some of Kentucky's best girls' programs participated in the 21 team event.  The Lady Jackets finished in the eighth position with a respectable score of 371.     

Becky Sharpe led the team once again with a 79.  She finished in third place overall behind Caldwell County's Emma Talley and North Hardin's Lydia Gumm.  Kaylee Akins played well to shoot 87 and tied for 20th individually.  Bethany Hamblin shot 101.  Julia Higginbotham shot 104 and Kacie Cox shot 127.
