Bartlett Girls Basketball: Coaches Corner

    Karine Turner & Tom (Snake) Wheeler have been coaching together for seven years. The first three years was with the League of Champions sponsored by Jackie Lewis where they coached players like: Andre Laws, Jackie Lewis, Ari Zandman-Zeman, and Rahim Abdul-Bassit. The last four years have been at Bartlett High School.
    Karine is in her nineth year as head coach. She is a graduate of Bartlett High School, where she played varsity one year at Dimond High and the last three at Bartlett High. She also played two years with the University of Alaska Anchorage where she met her husband Tom.
    Together with the help of Parents, Principals-Mary McKean, Mike Doody, Secretray-Diane Harrison and Coaching Staff-Tiny Turner, Steve Armstrong & Tom Wheeler. They have help developed the program to what it is today.
