NEW NCAA ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The NCAA has implemented new accademic requirements for student athletes. If you plan to enter college in 2008 or after, your eligibility will be determined under the new rule.For more information on initial eligibility requirements see the NCAA FAQ.
NCAA INITIAL ELIGIBILITY WORKSHEET
Use this workksheet to make sure you are in line with the new NCAA eligibility requirements. Please note that there are two different worksheets in this document. One for NCAA Division I schools and another for NCAA Division II schools. The requirements are a little different for each division.

NCAA GUIDE for the COLLEGE BOUND STUDENT ATHLETE
This Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete will lead you through a number of important topics, including your academic eligibility, amateurism eligibility, registration with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse, ?nancial aid and recruiting rules.
NCAA Clearing House
In order to participate in college athletics and receive athletically-based financial aid or to be eligible for contact by college coaches, you must register with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse and meet academic and amateurism eligibility standards. There is a $50 fee to register with the clearing house.
