Laconia Little League: Welcome

It's already that time of year. Registration in due by February 29th, 2012 and the season will start on May 14th, 2012. This year each player will be expected to sell a pack of raffle tickets and each family will be expected to sell one box of Vande Walle's candy bars. The candy bars can be picked up on Feb 28th from 3:30 to 5:00 PM and on Feb 29th from 3:30 to 6:00 PM at either Rosendale Intermediate or Brandon School or they may also be picked up on league picture day.

The next Laconia Little League Board meeting is February 19th at 6:00 P.M. at Brandon School. If you appreciate this community-centered program for your children, then you can help keep it strong. It takes community members to keep the League running smoothly. Please take the time to attend a meeting or volunteer to help out at the tournament.

Sunday Baseball Camp for boys in 4th through 8th grades starts the last
Sunday in March. See the handout for more details.
The dates for 2011 are as follows:
March 25th @ RI
April 1st, 15th and 29th @ RI
April 7th & 22nd @ Brandon
May 6th & 20th @ Brandon for the traveling teams.
Try outs will be held in April for traveling teams.

The league will still supply helmets this year for those children who do not own one. It is suggested that each child purchase their own helmet to reduce any risks associated with the sharing of helmets.
