Lackawanna Lightning was formed in the Fall of 2005. This team is designed to offer girls the opportunity to experience softball on a more competitive level against teams throughout the state of PA, NY, NJ, MD, and VA area, the mid-Atlantic region, and possibly the nation. This team's program will be committed to provide girls with the opportunity to experience softball in an atmosphere that encourages and promotes teamwork, friendship, and good sportsmanship.

Lackawanna Lightning is pleased to announce there will be four teams competing during the 2008 - 2009 season. We will be fielding teams in the 18U, 16U, 14U, and 12U divisions.

We are a well established and successful softball team that will be playing a very
competitive College Showcase schedule. 18U team plans to play in 2-3 Fall tournaments, In-door winter games, and 5-7 tournaments plus Nationals in 2009.
