Lackawanna Lightning was formed in the Fall of 2005. This team is designed to offer girls the opportunity to experience softball on a more competitive level against teams throughout the state of PA, NY, NJ, MD, and VA area, the mid-Atlantic region, and possibly the nation. This team's program will be committed to provide girls with the opportunity to experience softball in an atmosphere that encourages and promotes teamwork, friendship, and good sportsmanship.

Lackawanna Lightning is pleased to announce a new 16U team is forming and will be competing during the 2010 - 2011 season. Additionally, we will be fielding teams in the 18U, 16U, and 14U divisions.

We are a well established and successful softball team that will be playing a very
competitive College Showcase schedule. 16U team plans to play in 2-3 Fall tournaments, In-door practice during late Fall, Winter, and early Spring, and 4-6 tournaments in the Summer of 2011.

ASA 2011 Eastern National Qualifier -- 18U Division
advances to ASA Eastern National "A" Championships in York, PA Aug 3 -7 or ASA Eastern National "B" Championships in Canton, OH July 25 - 29
4 Game Guarantee -- Entry fee: $425, deadline May 26
Teams must be ASA registered.
Awards for 1st & 2nd, Team & Individual, MVP awards on Saturday.
