The London Young Women's Soccer League is created!

Good Day to all Soccer Enthusiasts. 

The London Young Women’s Soccer League is a brand new league created to fill a need for female players under 25 years of age looking for a full length recreational soccer league.  Although there are other leagues out there, we are offering the following:

Up to 25 players per team
45 minute halves
Weekly games
Weekly group practices
Weekend finals tournament 

Registration is still open!  All registration will be done through Nor'West Soccer using the Quick enrollment website.

League Details:
Registration: The cost of the league will be $110 per participant.  Registration will open on Feburary 1, 2009.  Click here to register.

Uniforms: The uniform will consist of an ADIDAS jersey that comes in sizes XS to XL.  The shirts are moisture wicking, and fit on the larger size.  All players must wear soccer cleats, soccer shorts, shin pads, and socks that cover their shin pads.

Referees: Referees will be provided by Nor'West Soccer Club.  Each time will be responsible for providing a linesman for their game.

Game dates:  Games are 10:00 AM Sunday Monings at Lucas Football, and 6:00 PM Sunday Evenings at North London 1

Practice: Are 7:00 pm Wednesdays at the Banting mini-field on the top of the hill just of Limberlost Rd.  All players must bring a soccer ball to all practices.

Co-Captains /coaches: Each time will have 2 co-captains who will be repsonsible for bringing game balls and setting up nets at each game.

Team Creation:  Players may request to be on a specific team by emailing the co-ordinator of the league, or by filling out their friends name when they register.

First Game / Last Game:  The first 2 games of season will be Pick-up games where all players are invited to join in.  May 3 will be at 10 am at Lucas field, and the next pick-up game will be May 10 at 6 pm at North London 1.  The regular season begins on May 17th.  The schedule is posted beloin the news section.

Weather conditions: Games will be cancelled when there is lightening in the sky.

Refunds: Are subject to a $20 administrative fee and are only available if your request is submitted by e-mail to admin@norwestsoccer.com or voice mail at 519-641-1342 prior to April 30 2009. Refunds are processed at the end of the month.
