Liberty Youth Athletic Association: Welcome
This conference is organized to develop and operate a football program in affiliation with Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., in conformity with and pursuant to the principles, rules and regulations enunciated by said Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. In conjunction with such purposes, the objective of this (Conference), through the medium of a supervised, competitive football program, guided and governed by said Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., is to seek to implant in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship. honesty, loyalty, courage, scholarship, and reverence, so that they may be finer, stronger and happier youth who will grow to be good healthy adults. In 2004, we expanded our vision by adding Baseball and in 2008 Basketball was added.

With a victory over the North Carolina Bulldogs the Raiders secured a spot in the Pop Warner Superbowl 13 - 8. Raiders goes down to defeat to the Razorbacks, but finish 2nd in the Country. Check out the video.

Enon falls to the N. Carolina Bulldogs 28 - 6, Liberty would like to show much love to the Eagles as they fall short of their quest.

The National brackets are set and both the Enon Eagles and Northwest Raiders play the Cedar Crest Comets:
Enon will play on Saturday December 3rd, at 1:15 P.M. and the Raiders play on Sunday December 4th, at 3:15. Tune in to ESPN 3 for updates.

Both the Northwest Raiders and Enon Eagles accomplished their goal to play for a National Championship. Good Luck

Liberty took home 3 of the 4 games played at Benjamin Johnson Stadium on Sunday. Thing opened with the Raiders Jr. Pee Wee victory of the East Orange Jaugars 7 - 6. This was followed by the Raiders Midget teams victory ver the East Orange Jaugars 28 - 0. The Blackhawks Jr. Midget looked to be their old selves breaking out to a 24 - 0 first quarter lead and when the smoke cleared final the score 37 - 0. No Team has reached the Blackhawks End Zone all year. A short man Gators team played their hearts out as they went down to defeat.

Both Enon teams took on the Chi'li Lions with the Midget winning 14 - 0 and the Jr Midget had to go to Overtime to secure their win 18 - 16

Happy Holidays, Wade! How are things going? I have good news. There is a strong possibility the PhillyCAM Program Director will run the LYAA Championships, next Wednesday November 23, 2011. I am going to try to get it to air Wednesday at 4:30 pm on Comcast 66/966 and Verizon 29/30.
The games covered will be the Oaklane Wildcats vs Frankford Chargers 90LB (game broadcast with commentary), Northwest Raiders vs Frankford Chargers 160LB (highlights), and the North Philly Hurricanes vs South Philly Hurricanes 75LB (musical video highlight). Also mentioned are the results from some of the other championship games. I hope you enjoy the show and thanks again. Please keep us in the loop for your other sports.

Pop Warner programs nationwide will be required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or spirit participants. The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children. Note: This is not an option!!!
All background checks must be given to the League Secretary by August 16th
