LVE Swim Team: Welcome

Parents. We cannot stress the importance of Volunteers enough. For each Swim Meet we need lots of volunteers to help the meet run smoothly. Please view the volunteer sheets under Handouts section and sign up for any vacant positions. If you wish to be a Stroke and Turn judge or a Referee you will need to have training. Positions that anyone can do are Timers, runners, volunteers to set up and clear up the pool area are required for home meets.
If you have already completed training for Referee or Stroke and Turn please let Liz (ergcyder@aol.com) know.

If you did not get a chance to purchase your swimmer's team swimsuit, you can go to Cassels and buy it. Team swimsuits are required for meets.

Lauren M. DePont, Coach, Loudoun Valley Estates Torpedoes
I have been a swim team coach for the last 8 years working with children of all ages and abilities in the Loudoun County Area. Along with coaching, I have worked as a swim instructor throughout Loudoun with kids between the ages of 6 months to 18 years old. I have been swimming since I was four years old, and swam for Paul VI High School where I qualified for States. I Recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire, and was a Division 1 athlete in swimming and lacrosse. I am looking forward to working with the kids this summer and having lots of fun while learning and perfecting their strokes.

It's hard to believe that Winter is almost over and we are getting ready for our 2nd Summer swim season! This year we are pleased to announce that we have joined Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL) and will therefore be able to compete against other neighborhood swim teams. ODSL is a developmentally competitive swim league. For more information we encourage you to visit their website at www.ODSL.net.
Registration will be done on a first come first serve basis. You can download the registration form from the website or pickup one during registration. Please make sure you register early, we will be capping the registration this year.
Registration will be done at the LVE clubhouse. Here are the dates/times -
March 28th from 10am to 12pm
March 29th from 12pm to 2pm
