Welcome to the official homepage of the Lake Ridge Lancers Summer Swim Team.  We are a member of the Prince William Swim League(PWSL) and we are located in Woodbridge,Va.

We are affiliated with and practice at the Lake Ridge Community Swim Club.   We are always seeking new Lancer Swim Team members.  See the 2009 Registration form (below) for more details or contact Russ Vogel vogelred@aol.com  or Lori McDonald Lancermom@verizon.net  for additional information.

The End of Year Cyber meet gave the Lancers a 4th place finish out of all the PWSL Teams!   Way to go Lancers!

Lancer's Finish The Season With A Bang!

  What a great swim meet!  The Lancers were setting numerous Team And League records today.

 

PWSL records -- Girls: Gabrielle Mizerak, 15-18, 50 Fly (29.68); Carly Tanner, 15-18, 100 IM (1:07.71), 50 Breast(34.50); Boys: ; Sam Pomajevich, 9-10, 25 Fly (15.46)

PWSL relay records: 15-18 Girls 200 Medley (Carly Tanner, Courtney Mizerak, Gabrielle Mizerak, Lauren Donohoe) (2:06.35);

Lakeridge Lancers 2009 records -- Girls: Gabrielle Mizerak, 15-18, 50 Back (31.14), 50 Fly(29.68); Carly Tanner, 15-18, 50 Free (28.25), 100 IM(1:07.71), 50 Breast(34.50)

Lakeridge Lancers 2009 relay records: 15-18 Girls 200 Free (Carly Tanner, Lauren Donohoe, Kendall Hough, Courtney Mizerak) (1:54.83);15-18 Girls 200 Medley (Carly Tanner, Courtney Mizerak, Gabrielle Mizerak, Lauren Donohoe) (2:06.35);9-10 Boys 100 Medley (Philip Mazzoccoli, Noah Levine, Joshua DeLeoz, Adam Messier) (1:16.55);

Though the team finished third today, they should hold their heads high, they only lost by 8 points to a team swimming with a lot more swimmers!

Please RSVP by July 21st

The banquet will be held in the area around the volleyball court and the 'far' pavillion.  Guests should remember to bring chairs.  Also, each family is asked to contribute an item based on his/her last name.  Clearly label your serving container and utensil so that they may be returned to you.  See the list below for more informaion.

A-C  Please bring bread
D-M  Please bring side dish with serving utensil
N-Z Please bring dessert with serving utensil

We also need volunteers to help with set-up, take-down, serving and decorations.  If you are willing to help, please indicate so when you reply and we will contact you with more details.
